QiO Technologies' webinar takes place on Thursday, 21 November 2024
Learn how to slash data centre energy costs by 30%+ through intelligent server optimisation in this webinar with Cameron Conn from QiO Technologies

As the world grapples with an escalating energy crisis, data centre leaders — who are under pressure as energy demands grow thanks to the likes of AI — are under immense pressure to enhance efficiency, reduce energy costs and comply with stringent sustainability mandates.

During an upcoming webinar, hosted by Energy Digital and led by QiO Technologies, attendees will have a timely opportunity to explore revolutionary strategies for server optimisation, focusing on achieving significant energy savings.

Hosted by BizClik’s Neil Perry alongside QiO Technologies’ Cameron Conn, the session will see Cameron share his expertise, sharing cutting-edge solutions capable of reducing server power usage by more than 30% while also minimising cooling requirements.

As government regulations tighten and operational expenses soar, optimising data centres is no longer optional but essential for staying competitive.

This webinar will provide the tools and knowledge necessary to elevate data centre performance and sustainability efforts.

Unlocking Untapped Energy Savings in Your Data Center: How to Reduce Server Power Usage by 30+% and Slash Costs will take place from 3pm GMT on Thursday, 21 November.

What to expect in the webinar

Following a welcome from Neil and an introduction to Cameron, the first part of the webinar will focus on current energy challenges in data centres, with a deep dive on the biggest contributors to data centre energy inefficiencies.

Then, attention will turn to unlocking server energy efficiency using server-level optimisation techniques such as advanced CPU power state management, as well as knowledge sharing to help attendees understand the knock-on effects this has for cooling energy savings.

Moving on, the third section of the webinar will cover all things server optimisation, energy savings visibility and ESG reporting, highlighting how real-time visibility can assist in optimising energy usage, tracking savings and ensuring operations align with ESG reporting and compliance requirements.

Finally, Cameron will go into the ESG impact of energy efficiency, exploring how energy savings at the server level translate into real reductions in carbon emissions.

The webinar will wrap with an interactive Q&A session.

What are the main takeaways for webinar attendees?

In line with the agenda, webinar attendees can expect to:

  • Gain an understanding of data centre energy challenges
  • Unlock server energy efficiency insights
  • Learn about server optimisation and energy savings visibility
  • Dive into the intricacies of ESG impact and reporting
