People Moves: Kristian Strand

Kristian takes over as President of Danfoss Climate Solutions from Jürgen Fischer who has retired after 16 years with Danfoss.

Kristian says: “I’m honored to succeed Jürgen and to lead this exceptional team. I’m humbled by the responsibility and excited to build on the strong foundation Jürgen has established.

“I look forward to working together with the Danfoss Climate Solutions team to continue driving the business forward.” 

At Danfoss Climate Solutions, Kristian has also served as Divisional President, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Controls and has played a crucial role in the Climate Solutions Leadership Team, which the company says has been pivotal in “driving segment strategy and performance”.

He will ensure continuity and together with the Danfoss Climate Solutions team and our customers take the business to the next level.

Jürgen adds: “I’m proud to pass on a business, which is performing stronger and positioned better than ever before, and happy that Danfoss Climate Solutions will be in good and safe hands with Kristian. 

“I have considered my decision to retire for a while and I’m now looking forward to starting a new chapter, being able to pursue active board roles.
