How BizClik Achieved Greenly Silver Climate Strategy Rating

BizClik Media Ltd has earned a Silver Climate Strategy Rating from Greenly, placing the company among the top 15% of organisations assessed as part of its greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting.
This recognition marks a major milestone in BizClik’s sustainability journey. The company recorded total emissions of 905.4 tCO₂e — equivalent to 8.8 tonnes per employee — providing a transparent and credible baseline from which to drive future reduction efforts.
The assessment delivers valuable insights into BizClik’s emissions profile, identifying key sources such as assets (38.6%), travel and commuting (21.0%), and digital operations (10.2%). With this data-driven clarity, BizClik is positioned to take targeted and high-impact action as it continues expanding globally.
“Achieving a Silver rating and placing in the top 15% is a fantastic milestone for BizClik and a reflection of the progress we’ve already made. More importantly, it gives us a clear, data-led foundation to build from,” says Stacy Green, Chief People & Sustainability Officer at BizClik Media.
“We are now moving into the next phase of our journey, with a strong focus on implementing targeted reduction initiatives across travel, events, digital infrastructure and our supplier network. Sustainability is becoming embedded into how we operate, grow and deliver as a business, and we are excited about the impact we can make over the coming years.”
To put its footprint in context, BizClik’s annual emissions equate to around 525 return flights between London and New York or the carbon absorption of 82 hectares of forest over one year. The comparison underscores both the scale of the challenge and the significance of continued progress.
With a clear emissions baseline now established, BizClik is actively shaping its decarbonisation pathway to ensure sustainability remains central to its growth strategy as the company builds out its global media and events portfolio.
Greenly’s Silver Rating
Greenly’s Silver Climate Strategy Rating recognises businesses that have evolved beyond measuring emissions to implementing structured decarbonisation plans.
The rating sits within Greenly’s broader Climate Rating System, which uses a points-and-medal structure (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) to gauge how credible and Paris‑aligned a company’s climate strategy is.
To achieve Silver, organisations must measure their GHG emissions across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, define a multi‑year decarbonisation pathway, and establish formal action plans to reduce their footprint.
The assessment also considers governance factors such as supplier engagement, reduction roadmaps and climate integration into corporate culture. Companies awarded Silver typically fall within the top 10–15% of those reviewed, indicating strong climate performance, credible reduction strategies, and alignment with global climate goals, including the Paris Agreement.
