Energy Taiwan and Net-Zero Taiwan return Oct 29–31 at TaiNEX 1, showcasing comprehensive green energy and net zero solutions for a sustainable future

The annual flagship exhibitions of the energy industry—Energy Taiwan and Net-Zero Taiwan—will take place from October 29-31, 2025, at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 (TaiNEX 1).

Co-organised by TAITRA and GESA (Green Energy and Sustainability Alliance) under SEMI, these exhibitions focus on energy transition and carbon reduction toward achieving net zero goals.

This year’s exhibitions will expand across the first and fourth floors, bringing together industry players to form a complete renewable energy supply chain and deliver comprehensive solutions.

The combined exhibitions continue to uphold their reputation as the Asia-Pacific region’s premier sourcing and exchange platform for the green industry.

Energy Taiwan spotlights cutting-edge solutions

As the global energy transition accelerates, the renewable energy industry is rapidly emerging.

According to the IEA, energy investment is projected to reach US$3.3tn by 2025, with clean energy accounting for US$2.2tn. This highlights green energy as the primary target for global energy investments.

To address challenges in renewable energy supply, Taiwan’s government has introduced the Energy Transition 2.0 policy and launched the Comprehensive Carbon Reduction Action Plan for the Energy Sector.

This plan focuses on developing cutting-edge technologies like decarbonised hydrogen (methane pyrolysis), hydrogen energy, behind-the-meter energy storage systems, geothermal energy, small hydropower (SHP), carbon capture and storage (CCS), offshore wind power and solar photovoltaics (PV).

The goal is to diversify renewable energy sources and enhance industrial resilience.

Energy Taiwan showcases four key exhibition areas: PV, Wind Energy, Smart Storage and Emerging Power.

The expo brings together outstanding enterprises and organizations, including Taiwan Solar Energy Corporation (TSEC), Motech Industries, Inc., Solar PV Generation System Association (PVGSA), Synera Renewable Energy, CI Wind Power Development Taiwan Co., Ltd., Ørsted A/S, TÜV Rheinland, HD Renewable Energy, Ampower and Bloom Energy.

The exhibition connects renewable energy supply chain players across the entire spectrum—from R&D and manufacturing to integrated applications—showcasing cutting-edge technologies and solutions in the energy sector.

The Emerging Power area offers particular diversity, featuring renewable energy applications including hydrogen energy, thermal energy and small hydropower (SHP).

This exhibition creates a one-stop business and trading platform for green energy sourcing and collaboration, enabling businesses to seize early opportunities in the energy transition.

Net-Zero Taiwan boosts corporate sustainability

With global warming expected to breach the critical 1.5°C threshold, carbon reduction efforts toward achieving net zero cannot afford to slow down.

A key platform for global renewable energy trade, with top overseas buyers from Singapore, Japan and the US

According to the World Bank’s State and Trends of Carbon Pricing 2025, 80 carbon tax or emission trading systems (ETS) are currently in effect or under development as of the beginning of this year, covering 28% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

As the carbon trading market continues to expand, global carbon revenue has doubled over the past decade, driving businesses to strengthen their commitment to carbon management and reduction initiatives.

This year’s Net-Zero Taiwan has been enhanced to focus on key areas, such as carbon management and applications, deep energy saving, circular economy, renewable energy trading, green finance, climate technology and green-collar talent development.

The exhibition brings together businesses from diverse industries to present cross-sector carbon reduction solutions, including energy-efficient architecture, carbon footprint inventory management, natural carbon sinks and sustainable aviation fuel.

Notable participants include various organizations under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan Power Company, Taiwan Energy Service Association and industry leaders such as Intelligent Cloud Plus, Delta Electronics, Formosa Smart Energy and J&V Energy.

Through demonstrations of diverse technologies and professional exchange, the exhibition provides businesses with a clear roadmap for advancing their energy transition goals. This comprehensive platform enables industrial players to strengthen their sustainability competitiveness and capitalise on emerging net zero business opportunities.

Energy Lab and expo forums

Building on the success of the Carbon Academy at the 2024 expo, this year’s trade show will feature an enhanced 2025 Energy Lab focused on energy governance and transition practices.

The Energy Lab brings together policy consultants, technology experts and industry professionals with real-world experience to analyse current trends, discuss strategic planning and share practical insights.

Through both experimental and hands-on approaches, businesses will develop comprehensive understanding and practical implementation skills, enabling them to navigate the energy transition and chart their own paths toward carbon reduction.

In addition to the Energy Lab, the exhibition will host themed forums, Sustainability Awards and business matchmaking sessions.

Industry experts, government officials and academic professionals will convene to discuss net zero policies and the latest renewable energy and carbon reduction technologies, helping businesses identify new opportunities.

The exhibition serves as a comprehensive platform for industry networking and knowledge exchange.
