A brief history of CHINT

  • 1984: CHINT is established
  • 1995: CHINT becomes the first Chinese company to secure UL certification for low-voltage electrical products
  • 2005: The company pioneers ‘intelligent circuit breaker’ technology with breakthrough patent
  • 2010: CHINT establishes leadership in China’s solar power sector with global expansion
  • 2018: CHINT sets a record with 2,000MW solar facility in Ningxia, China
  • 2022: CHINT reports an operating revenue of US$18bn, reaffirming its place among the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises for more than 20 consecutive years
  • 2023: CHINT’s international presence reaches more than 140 countries, employing more than 50,000 people. It has a robust network of manufacturing bases and R&D centres
  • 2024: CHINT celebrates its 40th anniversary by hosting the Ou River Summit in Wenzhou, focusing on green energy transformation and low-carbon initiatives while fostering innovation through competitions for emerging talent

Lily’s career at CHINT spans more than two decades.

Serving as President of CHINT Electric and CHINT Global, she brings extensive experience to her roles. 

Her career at CHINT has seen her take on roles including Deputy Director of Finance, GM Assistant of Investment & Development and GM of international trade departments, with her expertise encompassing global team management, overseeing a diverse workforce of more than 2,000 employees across multiple cultures.

Lily is recognised and held in high regard across the industry for her strategic vision and ability to drive business growth at CHINT. Alongside this, she continues to emphasise the importance and pairing of innovation and sustainability, focusing on smart energy solutions and addressing critical challenges like decarbonisation.

As a leader who has demonstrated strong capabilities in launching new ventures, she has also lent a hand to developing business strategies and managing investments and acquisitions to reinforce CHINT strength in the market. 

It’s widely regarded that her leadership has been instrumental in expanding CHINT’s ever-growing global presence.
